Yuxin Pei (b.1992, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China) is an artist, educator, and concept artist based in New York. Yuxin holds an MFA in Multidisciplinary Fine Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art (2018) and a BA from the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts (2015). Currently, she is teaching at Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, NY).

Employing a diverse array of media - from traditional painting to sculptures, videos, conceptual art, and installations, Yuxin’s artwork mines daily media, family migrant history, unravels trauma and taboos, and experiences as ethnic minorities and migrants, to draw out larger relationships between individual and collective history under historical and political contexts. Yuxin's work encompasses gender narratives, the environmental challenges of ethnic minorities, urban landscape changes, and the resonance of conceptual and materials. Through art practice and research, her current interests embody issues around cyber technology, manipulating information, and power.

As a Concept artist, Yuxin designs characters, environments, and illustrations for game projects. For the concept art portfolio, please check out Yuxin's ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/yuxinpei
